Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, monitor and execute production ETL processes
- Investigate production ETL issues / problems
- Automate the verification and validation of ETL production processes
- Lead troubleshooting episodes and communicate solutions/resolutions to the team
- Translate concepts to requirements, then design, and develop and deploy the MSSQL automated production processes
- Complete projects and development activities timely and accurately while following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Suggest changes and enhancements for processes.
- Document hours of development activities by following SDLC and IS Change Management
- Contribute to the success of the Healthcare Economics Data Management team
- Provide direction and mentorship to junior colleagues on topics related to Datamart design and ETL deliverables
- Act as a subject matter expert for other team members on assigned processes
- Keep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed training

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or 5+ years of related work experience
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, MS Visual Studio, SSIS, T-SQL, MS SQL Server admin/development tools
- 5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse development
- 5+ years of experience in MSSQL T-SQL/SSIS development
- 5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing Star/Snowflake schemas
- 5+ years of experience with Data Warehouse – (ETL) Extract, Transform, and Load
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS SQL Server production ETL operations and monitoring built in: MS SSIS, T-SQL Stored Procedures and MSSQL Agent Jobs.
- Experience in developing applications as a collaborative team member.
- Experience with supporting a Healthcare data warehouse environment
- Experience working with healthcare data/databases
- Proven solid analytical and troubleshooting skills

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
