Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines:

  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.
  • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.

  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.

  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage execution of Release Train activity for current program increment and planning for PI+1
  • Provide guidance to release train on execution of committed deliverables sprint on sprint
  • Drive planning activities of Product Owners and Delivery Managers in Backlog grooming and Feature Definition
  • Proactive status reporting on delivery to plan
  • Issue tracking across teams and facilitation of roadblock removal
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 7+ years of IT Industry work experience
  • 2+ years of Project or Program Management
  • 2+ years of Release Train Engineer or Coaching Experience
  • 2+ years of Agile (SAFe or Scrum or Kanban) Development Methodology experience
