InfoSec Engineer Consultant – TCP or IP, Subnet, DNS, Firewall

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with teams across diverse organizations to diagnose and resolve security product issues with network connectivity, port mirroring, SNMP, and other integrations
- Starting investigations based on hypotheses about potential malicious activity
- Utilizing up-to-date threat intelligence methods to identify potential threats and resolve issues
- Perform Daily product’s security alert’s monitoring and work with internal security team and AEs security team to remediate the issues and resolve the alerts
- Work with other IT professionals from other cross functional teams to deploy and maintain our security product
- Manage projects and timelines efficiently
- Work with vendors for product demos, enhancement, patching etc
- Work with internal and AEs security team manage risk and vulnerabilities
- Prepare reports and share with internal stakeholders
- Staying updated with the latest technologies and trends
- Ensuring network configurations are accurate and secure
- Work closely with various venders to deploy, maintain, and support our security product at Acquired Entity and corporate sites
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Understanding basics of TCP/IP, subnet, DNS, firewall and firewall rules, routing, switching, and network protocols, ACL
- Knowledge of East-west and North-south network traffic and data flow
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions, preferably Splunk
- Familiarity with routers, switches, and other networking hardware
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and other operating systems
- Proven ability to understand network architecture and solutions
- Proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven teamwork
- Proven communication
Preferred Qualification:
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, Cisco CCNA Certifications
