The Senior Director, Market Aligned DSNP Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of DSNP operations within an organization. They collaborate with executive leadership to align operational strategies with the overall business objectives and drive sustainable growth. The Senior Director provides strategic guidance, leads cross-functional teams, and ensures operational excellence across the organization.
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Senior Director, Market Aligned DSNP Operations. This role is critical to our strategic initiatives and requires a deep and thorough knowledge of DSNP (Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans) to ensure success. The Senior Director will be responsible for leading and managing market-aligned DSNP operations, driving strategic work items, and achieving key business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction for operations in support of the Dual Special Needs Population (DSNP) line of business. Identify opportunities for improvement and develop a comprehensive operational plan aligned with organizational goals
- Execution and Implementation: Lead the execution of the operational plan by working closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical, administrative, and financial stakeholders. Ensure effective implementation of initiatives to drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes and cost efficiencies
- Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of strategic and operational initiatives. Regularly analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to continuously improve outcomes
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster solid relationships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and community organizations. Coordinate efforts to align care delivery processes, enhance care coordination, and promote patient engagement
- Quality Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement by implementing evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines. Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement standardized protocols and care pathways that optimize patient outcomes
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance related to DSNP operations, identify areas for cost reduction, and work closely with finance teams to ensure the financial viability of initiatives
- Compliance and Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations, policies, and guidelines related to DSNP. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards and proactively address any compliance issues

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on operations
- In-depth understanding of DSNP plans, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and best practices
- Solid understanding of healthcare delivery models, reimbursement mechanisms, and quality improvement methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and effectively manage competing priorities
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing operational plans to improve outcomes
- Proven excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals
- Proven exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualification:
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing DSNP operations

The salary range for this role is $150,200 to $288,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
