Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with project team, analyze client requirements to build and deploy efficient data engineering processes and jobs on Snowflake using SQL and Python
• Ingest data from on-prem/AWS to Snowflake and SAS environments using various tools & capabilities while coordinating with multiple teams
• Design, Develop, test, deploy, and maintain data engineering processes & jobs while ensuring best practices
• Help in modernizing and improving the current data engineering processes using new tools and technologies for improved turnaround time, reduced manual efforts along with efficient processes
• Support in monthly data processing for client and generate insights within service level agreement
• Work on business logic enhancement, implementation and data analysis requests from client and ensure timely delivery of the same
• Analyzing data engineering processes, troubleshoot performance issues and suggest solutions to improve
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes using GitHub, Github Actions etc.
• Maintain high quality documentation of data definitions, transformations, and processes
• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Support and maintain the client data & analytics delivery environment

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of overall experience in Data & Analytics engineering
• 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Airflow/ADF
• Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Github Actions, Maven etc.
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Proven excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure cloud experience
• Knowledge of health care concepts – Members, Claims and various types, Costs & Charges, Payer, Provider, Employer Groups, Policies & Products etc.
