Project Role Overview:

As part of the IT Ops Team, we collaborate directly with the business to enhance user experience and manage the Production Live Environment. We handle critical activities such as addressing production issues, implementing functional improvements, and enhancing user experience. Additionally, we oversee release management, testing, and performance engineering to ensure the highest standards for each release.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of release engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the professional growth and development of team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand release changes and continuously enhance the test suite
  • Work with development, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth release management processes. Coordinate with various stakeholders to meet criteria before each release
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for efficient release testing
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing best practices. Contribute to process improvements, tool evaluations, and the adoption of new testing methodologies
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline the deployment process and ensure seamless integration of new features
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of production systems, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Drive framework changes to enhance system scalability, performance, and security
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • B. Tech or M. Tech or MCA
  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Solid background in Quality Engineering practices
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles
  • Proficiency in UI Automation, JavaScript, Java, and Selenium

 

Preferred Qualification: 

  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting
