Technical Product Manager – Product owner or Product Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the IT Assets Management software, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the development team has a clear understanding of the tasks and priorities
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and support teams, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure the product meets their needs
• User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the development team understands the requirements and can deliver high-quality features
• Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, providing guidance and feedback to the development team
• Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the IT Assets Management space
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development, preferably in IT Assets Management or related fields
• Skills: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Assets Management software, tools, and best practices
• Analytical Skills: Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Customer Focus: Proven customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences

Preferred Qualifications: 

• A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, PMP)
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Rally)
