The Sr. Marketing Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing our email deployment processes. The Sr. Marketing Analyst is an integral member of our marketing team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of email deployments. This role also involves analyzing post-campaign data to improve future strategies and actively communicating insights to key stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of email marketing systems, data analysis and a creative approach to developing effective email templates. The Sr. Marketing Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain high standards for email deployment. Cross-team collaboration is a key component of this role.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with email marketing platform experience, possessing a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. They must be well-organized, highly motivated, and passionate about high-quality communication. Thriving on proactively seeking new insights, finding creative solutions, and measuring results, they should be comfortable collaborating and communicating with business partners to ensure alignment and successful execution of agreed-upon objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire email deployment process, from planning to execution, utilizing platforms like Salesforce. Responsible for patient-facing deployments and supporting internal deployments as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate deployment of emails, adhering to best practices and compliance standards
- Analyze post-deployment email data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement, and develop and maintain comprehensive reports to track key KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates
- Manage and maintain OFT (Outlook Template) files and other creative assets used in email campaigns
- Proactively share insights and recommendations with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to inform future email strategies
- Continuously test and optimize email templates to improve engagement and performance
- Accommodate leadership data requests as needed and regularly communicate with key business partners, including provider marketing, communications, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in email marketing and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our email programs
- Utilize project management tools (e.g, Asana) to ensure workflows and projects remain on task
- Quickly learn and adapt to new processes and continuously refine systems and seek innovative solutions
- Understand and adapt to the Optum culture

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications or related field with a solid focus on deployment management and data analysis
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms, particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe
- Knowledge of HTML for email template development
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Demonstrated solid writing/communications skills
- Demonstrated solid organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A/B testing to optimize email campaigns
- Familiarity with email deliverability and inbox placement strategies
- Demonstrated solid problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven to be a self-starter with the ability to balance and execute multiple projects concurrently

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
