Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design of complex applications, microservices, and integrations
• Serve as the go-to expert for best practices, promoting clean code, test automation, and DevOps
• Coach and mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing
• Partner with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, capacity planning, and long-term vision
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AI and cloud computing, to drive best practices within the team
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design patterns, and implementation guides
• Define coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and drive refactoring initiatives
• Leverage Generative AI technologies to enhance software capabilities and drive innovation within the development team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of overall experience and 7+ years of overall software engineering experience
• Experience deploying and operating code in a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud)
• Experience in financial technology domain
• Experience with high volume transaction sites
• Experience working with applications deployed in private or public cloud
• Experience in customer facing products
• Solid expertise in software design principles, design patterns, and best practices, and using AI to facilitate
• Proficient in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Golang, Node.js, Java
• Proven good oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to execute on the use cases given to solve business problems, having done so building and deploying a major component to production
