The Data Entry Lead/ Receptionist is responsible for greeting all individuals coming into our UMR Corporate office location working to direct them appropriately. They assist with administrative tasks that support the office’s efficiency, safety, and maintenance. The Data Entry Lead/ Receptionist works as a Business Segment Liaison (BSL) assisting the department with requests for access, equipment, email services and more. They would also support the team with administrative and other data entry tasks as needed.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday onsite at this location. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7 am – 5 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 115 W WAUSAU AVE., Wausau, WI 54401.

This training for this role will be on the job. The hours and duration of the  training will be based on needs of the candidate.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet UMR members/potential members walking into our office location at the door and work to connect them with the appropriate resources needed to have their questions answered
  • Directing UMR members/potential members to the appropriate resources to answer their specific questions (i.e. insurance sales – UHC insurance sales number; claims/ benefits questions – customer service number on insurance card, as we don’t have representatives on site)
  • Escalate member/ potential member concerns to leadership as needed if members/ potential members have tried and are having difficulty receiving a response or the information they need.
  • Collaborate with Building Security to assist with visitors entering the building, assisting contractors, and UMR/ UHC employees with badge replacement as needed.
  • Maintain common areas cleanliness and appropriate supply levels: ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Serving as a Business Segment Liaison (BSL) assisting the department with requests for access, equipment, email services and more.
  • Assisting the department with administrative and other data entry tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience working in an office or professional setting
  • 1+ years of Data entry, maintenance, and querying experience.
  • 1+ years of working with electronic files/documents
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; Microsoft Word (ability to create, copy, edit, save and send documents), Microsoft Excel (ability to create, copy, edit, save and send spreadsheets) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Must live within a commutable distance of 115 W WAUSAU AVE., Wausau, WI 54401.
  • Must have the ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules Monday-Friday on location at our 115 W WAUSAU AVE., Wausau, WI 54401 during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 – $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
