Job Summary: The Senior Digital Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of digital products from conception to launch. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital product lifecycle, user experience, and market trends. The Senior Digital Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Product Strategy: Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company’s goals and market demands
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, including ideation, design, development, testing, and launch
  • User Experience: Ensure products deliver a seamless and engaging user experience by collaborating with UX/UI designers
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful product launches
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including marketing, sales, engineering, operations and customer support teams, to gather requirements and feedback
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance using analytics tools and metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize product features and user experience
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and customer feedback
  • Agile Methodology: Utilize agile methodologies to manage product development cycles and ensure continuous improvement
  • Customer Focus: Advocate for the customer by understanding their needs and pain points, and ensuring products address these effectively

Skills:  

  • Solid execution orientation—comfortable balancing long-term vision with near-term delivery    
  • Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills in ambiguous and high-velocity environments    
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., AHA, Rally, JIRA, and/or FIGMA).  
  • Expertise in building products for complex, highly regulated environments like healthcare    
  • Deep understanding of user experience for providers, payors, and administrative staff    
  • Solid collaborator and communicator who can align stakeholders and influence across all levels 
  • Proven impactful communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience in Healthcare OR IT industry
  • 3+ years of experience executing defined strategy and building/managing products throughout the end-to-end lifecycle to meet business objectives and/or product development goals
  • 2+ years of Digital experience
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., AHA, Rally, JIRA, and/ or FIGMA)

  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • MBA or advanced technical degree   
  • Undergraduate degree in Product Development, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study 
  • Background in healthcare technology, experience with digital product management within the US Healthcare industry 
  • Located in EST or CST time zones or the ability to work CST hours

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
