Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves contributing to the development of innovative strategies, policies, and procedures, while conducting and documenting moderately complex analyses and research. Responsibilities include preparing forecasts, analyzing trends, and building analytical models, tools, and databases to support data-driven decision-making. The position also entails compiling detailed reports and providing actionable recommendations to assist management. Additional duties may involve projecting expenses, estimating unpaid claim reserves, and generating various financial reports. Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to, healthcare economics, pricing, reserving, forecasting, data analytics, and consulting.

Required Qualifications:

• Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or another related technical field from an accredited college / university 
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
• Intermediate level of proficiency working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, calculations, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.
• Basic level of proficiency with MS Word and MS Access
• Basic level of proficiency with SAS or SQL programming languages and/or Tableau

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently in final year of obtaining a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college / university or obtained degree within the last 24 months; degree must be obtained prior to start of employment
• Completion of 1 or more actuarial exams

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
