Associate Software Engineering Manager – Python and SQL

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participation in large-scale client engagements
• Leading the delivery of innovative and engaging data engineering solutions
• Mentoring and supervising teams
• Conducting data discovery activities, performing root cause analysis and making recommendations for the remediation of data quality issues
• Putting into practice good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects under tight deadlines
• Write effective, re-usable code and a scalable code
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• B.E or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related, quantitative fields
  
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in Python & SQL
  
• Experience in leading teams
  
• Experience on DevOps (CI/CD)
• Knowledge creating and consuming the REST API’s
• In-depth knowledge of performance tuning / optimizing data processing jobs, debugging time consuming jobs
• Good knowledge of Data engineering solutions
• Understanding of business and technical requirements, provision of subject matter expertise and implementation of data engineering techniques
• Expertise in at least few popular Python framework (like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Django, Flask, Pytest, PyUnit. etc.
• Solid SQL skills (MSSQL, PLSQL and/or MySQL)
• Proven good problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge or experience in NET and/or Big Data and/or Cloud
• Skills in Kubernetes & Cloud computing – AWS/GCP/Azure
