Primary Responsibilities:
- Document and communicate architectural vision, technical strategies, enterprise solutions and trade-offs to gain buy-in
- Provide design consultation to existing and new government customers
- Discover the art of possible
- Fully understand customer’s product roadmap
- Consider the customer experience, business impact and solution objective when managing risks and development and design of solutions
- Research and recommend engineering best practices
- Produce design models that describe enterprise solutions
- Demonstrate awareness of importance of security, performance, scalability, reliability, and feasibility in solution design
- Pro-actively identify patterns in issues and research root-cause to improve overall quality
- Stay current with evolving technologies
- Effectively communicate with business stakeholders and technical team
- Able to bridge the communication gaps between technical and non-technical specialists
- Understand security risks & implications when evaluating solutions
- Identify relevant security standards that apply to own work and adheres to protocols
- Seek out multiple sources to gather information
- Pro-actively identify patterns in issues and research root-cause to improve overall quality
- Gather facts and data to inform decision making

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related field; or 5+ years of equivalent professional work experience
- 6+ years of experience with designing and implementing on-premise architecture
- 6+ years of experience in data center migrations, new customer integration, and infrastructure optimization
- 6+ years of experience in delivering solutions architecture designs in a complex environment
- 1+ years of cloud computing experience
- Experience working with IT infrastructure, virtualization, networking, data center, and automation
- Solid understanding of government security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization
- Understanding of government security compliance and how it applies to design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data center infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking concepts
- Experience creating comprehensive technical documentation and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with Visio or Draw-io design software
- Knowledge of security compliance MARS-E, NIST, IRS-1075
- Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing cutting edge technologies to solve business challenges
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and solutions effectively to various levels in the organization and government customers to gain buy in

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
