Software Engineering Lead – Facets, .Net, DevOps and Azure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be able to understand the Facets Delivery, Client priority and requirements
• Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems
• Be able to translate the business requirements/functional design to job design
• Be able to work on EDI transactions like 837 and 835.
• Be able to contribute in DevOps, CI/CD and other engineering forums
• Be able to design, develop UI solutions by using C#.NET or Angular JS
• Actively engaged as a scrum team member in all agile mechanisms
• Reviews, analyzes, develop/modifies and Completes stories within definition of done, on time within original estimates
• Responsible for all aspects of deliverable (detailed code design, coding, unit and integration test, automation, and deployment)
• Be able to understand the existing designs and technology choices within products, and make appropriate adjustments to existing designs when necessary
• Be involved in peer reviews
• Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization and automation
• Delivers solutions devoid of significant security vulnerabilities
• Participates in on-call rotation
• Tickets are closed within SLA.
• Applies learnings from on-call rotation into delivered software.
• Contributes to outage retrospective discussions and documentation.
• Participate in Requirement gathering and Production Support for incidents
• Provide timely updates on tasks
• Adherence to the defined SLA Compliance etc.
• Lead a small team of 3 – 4 Developers and take the end to end ownership of the delivery by participating in the solutioning, reviews till the end of implementation
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years overall IT experience
• 5+ years of experience in Facets Claims domain
• 5+ years of development and testing experience in C# or .Net programming language
• 5+ years Database Design or Programming
• 2+ years of Agile experience
• Good knowledge on US Healthcare Industry
• Proven good in adapting and adopting new technology footprints to optimize business solutions  
• Proven solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• TriZetto Facets Application experience
• Healthcare EDI Experience
• Good understanding of Medicaid or Medicare line of business
• CI/CD Experience
• Comfortable in executing SQL queries, procedures, cursors
• Knowledge of data-streaming (like kafka)
• Knowledge of NetworX pricer
• Understanding of Production support process

Domain Specific Requirements:

• Claims
  • Good end to end claim, Payment lifecycle understanding in Facets
  • Good understanding around Claims pricing, errors, edits, adjustments and payments
  • Good understanding about the structure and significance of key /HIPAA X12 EDI transactions like 837, 277CA, 835, etc.
  • Working experience of implementing interfaces in Claims domain in Facets which includes Data Model, Core Claims processing batch jobs, Facets UI, Facets Workflow
