Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory
- Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirements
- Accurately gathers medications and supplies according to specifications of compounding record
- Restock pharmacy supplies
- Organize medication orders to prepare for production
- Package and label prepared medication orders, insuring drug, related supplies, and education materials are included
- Receive and replenish inventory/medication accurately by verifying quantity, lot number, expiration throughout multiple steps
- Reorder inventory/medication as needed based on usage and forecasting
- Receive and store 340B medications into standard inventory
- Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient data
- Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor’s offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team
- Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Contact patients as needed
- Access, input, and retrieve prescriptions and medical/lab information from computer system
- Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claims
- Process prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapies
- Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided
- Able to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality care
- Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or registration in the state of California
- 1+ years of experience with computers and MS Office products
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
