We’re seeking a Senior Conversational Designer to lead the design and optimization of omnichannel conversational experiences—including IVR, chatbots, and voice interfaces—across our digital ecosystem. This role is pivotal in shaping how users interact with our services, ensuring clarity, empathy, and efficiency in every exchange.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, developers, product owners, and business analysts to create intuitive, human-centered dialogue flows that align with user intent and business goals

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and write natural, user-centric conversational flows for IVR, chat, and voice interfaces
- Lead the creation of call journeys, conversation maps, and detailed design documentation
- Apply data and analytics to inform design decisions and iterate on existing experiences
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure design intent is realized in production
- Contribute to the migration of our contact center platform
- Advocate for best practices in conversational UX, accessibility, and inclusive design
- Support AI strategy by identifying opportunities for automation and zero-touch interactions
- Rationalize decisions to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization through excellent presentation and communication skills

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or conversational design
- 3+ years designing for IVR, chatbots, or voice assistants
- 2+ years working in Agile environments
- Portfolio demonstrating conversational design expertise and writing examples
- United States Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Amazon Connect or similar contact center platforms
- 2+ years of experience with healthcare, government, or regulated industries
- 1+ years of experience in linguistics, cognitive science, or human-computer interaction
- 1+ years of experience with emerging technology and AI
- 1+ years of experience with natural language processing (NLP) principles

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
