The Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team is responsible for cybersecurity across our organization. We support our business and members by reducing risk, rapidly responding to threats, focusing on business resiliency and securing new acquisitions.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Resiliency Analyst to join our Global Crisis Management (GCM) team. This role is crucial in ensuring our organization’s preparedness, response, and recovery to incidents, events, and crises. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing and mitigating risks.
The Resiliency Analyst is part of the GCM Team under the Enterprise Resilience (ER) Department, Enterprise Security & Resilience Office (ESRO). The GCM Team is dedicated to maintaining strong business continuity and promoting resiliency by managing events that impact UHG people, property, and reputation.

Position Details:
Schedule: Full time 40 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday 11:00am – 8:00pm Central time – 60-minute lunch; One weekend every other month on call Saturday and Sunday.
Primary Responsibilities:
- This role involves monitoring and providing proactive situational awareness
- Analyzing time-sensitive information, managing program administration tasks, handling incidents, and supporting events and crisis management efforts
- The Resiliency Analyst will collaborate with shift leads to ensure effective execution of tasks. Our team operates on a 24/7 Follow-the-Sun model, with three shifts, ensuring continuous global crisis management

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in incident response, crisis management, emergency management, business continuity, and/ or intelligence analysis
- Experience working within a command/ operation center environment
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Excellent customer service, demonstrated ability to self-manage, be proactive, and organized
- Write and speak clearly and proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Able to work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and regional holidays, to ensure continuous support coverage
- Able to work 11:00am – 8:00pm Central Time
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable
