JOB TITLE: Infrastructure Engineer
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Duties include: support and manage Microsoft Windows server Technologies in large scale enterprise infrastructure environments; responsible for implementation, design, architecture and support cloud-based solutions; create and maintain highly scalable and fault tolerant multi-tier Azure and OCI environments spanning across multiple availability zones; provide general oversites for all environmental activities in the platform including Security Vulnerability Remediation, Capacity Management, Performance Management from a scheduling and Operational perspective; and server engineering and administration such as Load Balancing, Information Security, and Network Operations. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate
experience in the following:
• Windows Server Infrastructure such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and Profile Management;
• Azure, AWS and OCI environments;
• Configuration management using Ansible, chef, and Puppet;
• Microsoft Hyper-V and public cloud;
• Terraform;
• Automation of patch deployments using Ivanti;
• Server systems such as Windows, Linux, Appliances and VDI;
• Configuration of Datacenters, clusters, resource pools, and virtual switching;
• Manage replications and VM moments between datacenters;
• ESXi cluster servers and vCenters;
• Veeam;
• Ipam; and
• Kemp.
RATE OF PAY: $144,830 – $147,697 / per year
