During our 10-week internship program, you will gain meaningful work experience and exposure to the nation’s leading health care company, while learning what a career at UnitedHealth Group will have in store for you. A Corporate Services Internship provides exposure to and experience working on projects related to supplier risk; environmental sustainability; procurement operations; and reporting, analytics, and data. Projects will include some aspects of the following: process analysis and improvement, documentation, data analysis, standardization, market analysis, current supplier performance and industry best practices. You’ll be empowered to build relationships, drive innovation across the business, and share in a growth mindset. In addition, you’ll have access to training and curriculum to provide you with foundational knowledge. These Corporate Services internships may lead to full-time employment into a two-year Rotational Development Program within the Enterprise Procurement team upon graduation. You will also be invited to experience our Minnesota Headquarters, which enhances networking and development. *This is a full-time, in-person summer internship position in Eden Prairie, MN working 40 standard business hours Monday-Friday from June 2, 2026 – August 7, 2026*

Primary Responsibilities:
- Opportunity to learn and support core functions including, but not limited to, sourcing, risk identification and mitigation, benchmarking, standardization, and market analysis
- Recommend solutions based on data analysis to improve efficiency and enhance improvement processes
- Project-based work that requires communicating findings and interpretations clearly to relevant stakeholders and leadership
- Analyze reports related to the development and performance of products, processes, and technologies
- Assist teams with various research projects pertaining to multiple content areas or business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Corporate Services to support business initiatives
- Contribute to cost reductions and value maximization efforts through supplier analysis and assessment of current spend and performance
- Support process improvement initiatives by providing insights and explanations to team members
- Gather and analyze data from multiple systems to inform decision-making
- Support team members with the planning, organization, and completion of ad hoc projects
- Gain exposure to Corporate Services functions and support improvement efforts

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in the areas of business, finance, supply chain, analytics, or other related field of study
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university during the internship entering their senior year; internships are not intended for those who have already graduated
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization; F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered; H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position
- Must be able to work in-person, full-time summer internship from June 2, 2026 – August 7, 2026 in Eden Prairie, MN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing multiple projects / priorities, workload prioritization
- Proven skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven excellent analytical skills
- Proven ability to foster open dialogue across teams and departments
- Proven self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proven solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven interest in developing a career in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 t0 $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
