JOB TITLE: Compliance Consultant
LOCATION: 9915 Los Romeros Ave. Ste. 1100, San Juan, PR 00926 (Position allows for Partial Telecommuting out of San Juan, Puerto Rico Office)
DUTIES: Identify compliance contacts and stakeholders to drive compliance program implementation within the business such as, compliance committee, oversight structure, business process owners. Facilitate compliance standards, policies, procedures and codes of conduct. Facilitate auditing and monitoring processes to identify program issues and help the business address them such as implementation issues, training needs, exceptions to program requirements. Respond to reported compliance issues and develop and facilitate corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with internal and external business partners to help develop and implement effective fraud and abuse detection and reporting programs. Drive completion of required compliance training among applicable employee populations. Communicate the potential impact of compliance issues and risks on our business, operations and consumers to applicable stakeholders, including both segment-specific and enterprise-wide implications. Collaborate with applicable regulators to prevent or address potential compliance issues within our organization. Conduct internal monitoring and auditing to identify process gaps and help the business address organizational risks. Analyze results of audits and monitoring processes to identify potential risks and communicate as needed. Position allows for Partial Telecommuting out of San Juan, Puerto Rico Office. Position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel to various unanticipated worksites.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a accounting or compliance -related occupation. Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Regulatory Compliance related to Anticorruption, Antibribery and prevention of money laundering programs; Risk management assessing risks and developing strategies to mitigate them; Project management to manage compliance projects, timelines, and resources; Internal Policy Analysis; Experience with Compliance training and education program including Self-control and Comprehensive Risk Management System for Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (SAGRILAFT), Comprehensive system for the prevention of money laundering (SIPLA), Transparency and Business Ethics Program (PTEE) and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA); Risk matrices on ML/TF, Bribery and Corruption. – no certification required; and Reporting monthly KPIs related to monitoring activities and Ethics Investigations in the designated country.
RATE OF PAY: $ 89,320.00 / per year
