We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of medical equipment and instrumentation of moderate complexity. Your day-to-day tasks will include inspecting and installing devices, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting electrical safety testing to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. You will diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions, maintain accurate documentation of inspections and repairs, and manage inventory assessments. Additionally, you will coordinate and oversee third-party repairs when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to supporting high-quality patient care through reliable medical technology
This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 2 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 4:00pm EST, Monday – Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment, instrumentation, and support systems of moderate complexity used in healthcare delivery.
- Inspect, install, and perform inventory assessments and preventative maintenance of medical equipment.
- Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
- Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.
- Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR 1+ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- Drivers License to commute to sites for tech repair (within 50 miles of home site 2 CENTEROCK RD., West Nyack, NY)
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 – $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
