Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with large implementation teams to understand the Client and scope while planning for the Implementation with a focus to documenting requirements and UAT planning  or  execution
  • Analyze the Client contract and work with Client and internal teams to understand, document and manage business requirements
  • Works with implementation, technical and business teams to document, review and approve business requirements or configuration
  • Ensures requirements that necessitate development or configuration have been traced to corresponding work items
  • Creates tools (workbooks, questionnaires, workflows, etc.) to assist in the gathering of requirements for existing and new solutions
  • Analyze, review, and understand complex data flows and architecture for implementation plans
  • Develop and implement effective or strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure coverage and planning
  • Lead client user acceptance test planning and execution conducting meetings, identifying risks, closing potential gaps, ensuring alignment and reporting status (includes test scenario planning or execution, defect triage, entry and exit criteria across phases, etc)
  • Navigate a matrix environment, lead multi-faceted and multi-functional teams with a solid ability to problem solve, lead, and motivate others in problem resolution
  • Lead business and sometimes technical discussions for the purpose of organizing needs into documented processes or requirements
  • Documenting and executing comprehensive test plans, built to the voice of the client as well as best practices
  • Analyzing test results to determine the root causes of failures.
  • Collaborating with teams from different departments, such as development, product management, and customer support
  • Recommending improvements and corrections to enhance process
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

 

The ideal candidate will have proven work experience as a Business and/or Quality Analyst or similar role preferably in agile workspaces or a hybrid of waterfall and agile. Familiarity with Smartsheet, Rally, solid analytical/ problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements and utilizing industry standard tools and templates
  • 3+ years of working in an External Client Facing Role and Agile Environment
  • Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and prepare analysis for both internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities

 

Soft Skills:

  • Able to drive elicitation of and understand requirements
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities  
  • Ability to drive test planning, progress, and necessary reviews & approvals through matrixed teams and challenging environments
  • Able to articulate thoughts/needs and present in a way that both business and technical resources can understand
  • Ability to facilitate conversations with or provide feedback to clients as necessary including Best Practices, Client Workflows, Client Test Scenarios

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rally and Smartsheet
  • Experience in claim adjudication processes
  • Knowledge of Payer Adjudication Platforms i.e., Facets, QNXT, Amisys etc.
