Designs, develops, and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Responsible for the full product lifecycle management, with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products. Leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs as well as emerging technology developments and trends to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings. Balances deep subject matter expertise in the product, business use cases and solid technical aptitude. Accountable for delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs. Accountable to and/or own the P&L. Responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices. Positions in this function may require a background or degree in computer science or engineering. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required
  • Build, maintain and strengthen relationship with stakeholders
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners. Should be able to handle Onshore/Offshore model
  • Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development
  • Ability to write business requirement documents, mapping documents and functional specifications in the form of user stories/Features
  • Act as the liaison between Business and Developers and project management groups
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serves as a resource to others
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in product management
  • Should have resource management experience and should have handled team of Business analyst or Product owner’s
  • Extensive experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, Data analysis and writing system requirements
  • Knowledge/Experience on working all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Product management
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Proven excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis abilities
  • Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination
  • Should be flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts
  • Worked in agile model and aware about various scrum ceremonies
  • Proven good attitude and self-motivated
  • Solid facilitation skills to gain customer requirements
  • Solid problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills
  • Good at multitasking and organizational skills
  • US Healthcare knowledge
