The Technical Architect is responsible for creating and maintaining the Application Architecture strategic vision in collaboration with Product, DevOps, Data Science, Data Engineering, Quality Engineering, and other stakeholders. Leads the Application Architecture by providing oversight of others’ conceptual designs to ensure alignment with architecture strategic vision.
Provides governance to ensure engineering best practices are followed and to ensure that performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and security aspects are considered in designs. Provides designs and strategic input to Vice President of Technology and Engineering Teams.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- 8+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing software
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- 4+ years of expertise in .net, Angular, SQL based system & software architecture design patterns
- 4+ years of experience working with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code paradigms and related tools
- 2+ years of experience delivering software in a continuous integration & delivery model
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience in Microservices Architecture
- Experience in Domain Driven Design
- Experience working with PII/PHI or sensitive data
- Understanding of Data Science and Data Engineering concepts

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
