The Member Marketing Specialist I for Community & State (C&S) supports the development and execution of member-facing marketing strategies for Medicaid members. This role will primarily focus on promoting a newly launched rewards program and key value-added benefits designed to engage members and strengthen loyalty to UnitedHealthcare.
As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to delivering impactful, data-driven marketing campaigns and help build omni-channel member journeys-moving beyond one-off campaigns to create meaningful, personalized experiences. This position offers opportunities for growth as C&S continues to advance its marketing approach.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating, updating, and delivering member-facing marketing materials-including digital and print assets-under the guidance of senior team members
- Execute ad hoc production requests and support ongoing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the Member Marketing team and cross-functional partners (creative, analytics, digital) to meet project needs and resolve production issues
- Maintain and version creative materials in partnership with the creative services team
- Support the implementation of omni-channel communication plans, focusing on tactical execution and member engagement
- Track and report on assigned tasks and campaign performance using established KPIs and reporting tools
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving production workflows

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of marketing or production experience, preferably in a matrixed or team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with marketing production processes and basic project management principles
- Solid collaboration and communication skills for working with team members and cross-functional partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to work in an ad hoc environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting member or consumer marketing initiatives
- Exposure to digital-first marketing practices and campaign execution
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare marketing
- Experience with Adobe Workfront and other Adobe marketing tools

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
