We are seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI powered automation across the middle revenue cycle, including coding automation, CDI, charge capture, and utilization review. In this senior role, you will partner across engineering, data science, architecture, RCM operations, and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant automation that improves accuracy, reduces administrative burden, and accelerates financial outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define the enterprise vision and multiyear strategy for AI-enabling capabilities across coding, CDI, charge capture, and UR workflows
- Translate automation opportunities into clear product direction, measurable objectives, and solid business cases
- Ensure product designs align with regulatory requirements, provider and payer expectations, and industry coding standards
- Roadmap Leadership
- Own and prioritize the product roadmap to maximize automation lift, accuracy, and financial return
- Oversee iterative model training, deployment, and refinement cycles that accelerate customer value
- Establish and track OKRs across automation rate, accuracy, throughput, and denial risk mitigation
- Technical Product Ownership
- Lead product design for AI/ML driven workflows, ensuring alignment with engineering and architecture standards
- Partner with data science teams on model goals, training datasets, feature creation, and model evaluation
- Drive technical alignment on data structures, EHR interoperability, clinical documentation, and RCM system integration
- Execution & Delivery Excellence
- Drive agile practices across engineering and data science teams to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery
- Maintain a rigorous Definition of Done that includes accuracy of thresholds, validation, and explainability
- Anticipate and mitigate risks related to model drift, data quality, adoption challenges, or compliance issues
- Customer Impact & Performance
- Own end-to-end automation outcomes including accuracy, adoption, throughput improvement, and financial uplift
- Lead discovery and validation sessions with customers to ensure real world workflow fit and trust in automation
- Translate performance insights into roadmap decisions and customer-facing reporting
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, HIM, Health Sciences, Product Management, Analytics, or related field
- 13+ years in healthcare services, healthcare technology, or software development
- 6+ years in product management or technical product roles focused on AI/ML or automation platforms
- 3+ years in middle revenue cycle operations (coding, CDI, charge capture, utilization review) and related automation opportunities
- 3+ years leading large, matrixed initiatives across engineering, data science, and RCM/clinical teams
