Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform (App Services, Function Apps, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Application Gateway, Container Apps, VNets)
• Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and reusable CI/CD pipelines for Java and web applications
• Manage artifact repositories in Artifactory SaaS (npm, Maven, Docker)
• Configure and maintain Splunk Cloud monitoring, alerting, and integrate with DataDog, Zabbix APM
• Ensure compliance with security scanning tools (Bright Security, SonarQube)
• Manage network security controls, firewalls, egress rules, and role-based access controls (AD groups, Azure RBAC)
• Supports application deployment and release management processes
• Create and maintain scripts for automation and infrastructure tooling
• Support incident response, production issue resolution, and participate in on-call rotation

• Collaborate with security, compliance, development, and infrastructure teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience
• Experience with Observability tools
• Expert-level Azure cloud platform experience (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security)
• Java/Maven build systems and deployment experience
• Solid Terraform expertise for infrastructure as code
• Proficiency in GitHub Actions workflow development and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Solid Bash/Shell scripting and automation skills
• Solid networking fundamentals (firewalls, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, network perimeter management)
• Docker and container orchestration knowledge
• Database administration experience (Cosmos DB, MySQL, or similar NoSQL/SQL databases)
• Knowledge of SDLC security practices (SAST, DAST, container scanning)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Node.js/npm ecosystem knowledge and TypeScript/JavaScript development experience
• Continuous learner with flexibility to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements
• AI-savvy and comfortable leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity
• Solid ownership mindset and ability to drive initiatives independently
• Cloud and DevOps certifications (Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
