Site Reliability Engineer – Java

Primary Responsibilities:

• Need to mentor assigned junior resource to deliver their tasks on time. Should be delivered with good data quality during onboarding and processing the new customers with no defects and avoid re-work
• Actively work on the incidents for daily issues from the job failures and fix them on priority and deliver the feeds before the agreed SLA
• Candidate able to align with the operations team working model and contribute more process improvement ideas to the project which helps to deliver the feeds on time
• Able to handle major/critical incidents whenever any application issues raised, need to troubleshoot, and fix the operations issues within the time specified for the incidents, and provide timely communication to all required parties.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures followed in the operations team, need to complete the required learning and training which helps to complete the project activities on time
• Follow the defined sets of production monitoring, prepare SOP docs/wiki pages whenever needed, creating proper monitoring, health checks, feed templates, deployment documents, commissioned server/patching, housekeeping activities, release
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• B.E (IT, CS), MCA or Computer Graduate / Post Graduate
• 5+ years of experience in IT with SRE / Production Support Experience
• AWS cloud experience
• Individual contributor and proven self-motivated and able to finish up the assigned tasks on time without any delay on the delivery point of view
• Proven sound knowledge in AWS cloud services like redshift, data pipeline, AWS CLI, lambda, ec2, load balancers, Jenkins, run deck, shell scripting and SQL scripting
