Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness
  • Creation/involvement in documented designs following agreed to design patterns and standards
  • Perform Coding and unit testing independently and assist/mentor team members whenever required
  • Adherence to coding standards
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team
  • Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, and clarifications
  • Fully encourage and facilitate high quality code through of support QE team efforts including but not limited to mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests as needed.
  • Work with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities
  • Ensure delivery of technical artifacts for each project
  • Mentor developers on technology and application knowledge as needed
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
  • Participates in the application technical design process with the Application Architects on development projects
  • Advanced performance and tuning
  • Operates with minimal supervision across multiple environments and platforms
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Software Development life cycle experience
  • Experience in RESTFUL Webservices
  • Experience on Eclipse/IntelliJ Idea
  • Experience of working in a global environment
  • Experience in GIT & Gradle
  • Java11 or higher, J2EE, Spring boot, MySQL, Angular, Node
  • Good knowledge on containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Should understand CICD
  • Very good in development of web applications using Angular JS, Java11 or higher, Spring boot
  • Good working knowledge in SPRING Framework & Spring Boot
  • Sound knowledge of Relational Database MySQL
  • Sound knowledge of SDLC and Agile processes
  • Exposure to Kafka Streams
  • Ability to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute)
  • Willing to learn new technology
  • Proven good communication skills
  • Good to have idea on Monitoring tools using Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Public Cloud
