The Quality Engineer is responsible for all testing related activities for the scrum team within sprint and our of sprint for each release. He/she is also responsible for reviewing and updating the existing Automation framework for data driven testing approach as well as enhancing for supporting cross browser (specifically mobile) testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage in scrum activities, testing Features and User stories and automating them within sprint and logging defects for any bugs
- Assist with solutions to validate complex scenarios at a code or infrastructure level
- Review issues found via automation or manual testing to determine if there are environmental issues
- Determine root cause of issues (i.e. database, file systems, etc.) and work with the Development teams to resolve them
- Provide feedback to the teams on improvements and assist in coming up with a sustainable maintenance process. Experience in Agile testing methodologies will help
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 4+ years in IT including Application Development experience
- Experience in Selenium/Appium/Java/Cucumber
- Relevant automation experience to understand the existing framework and scale up quickly to debug the scripts
- API testing experience
- Experience in working with Maven Profiles, Cucumber BDD framework
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare domain knowledge
- AI/ML related technology knowledge
