JOB TITLE:    Business Analyst Consultant

LOCATION:    1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Duties include: developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and reporting; responsible for problem solving and analytical work, observing trends and performing data analysis, as well as conducting ad hoc reporting; monitor SAS ETLs, proactively identifying issues prior to downstream consumption, development and pursuit of enhanced QA reporting and analysis specific to daily and weekly processing; serve as the main liaison between the team, eVisor Business Operations and the eVisor_IT team on all common workings, specifically the weekly and monthly table QA; detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within last 24 months of various medical, pharmacy, biometric, lab claims from source systems using multivariate analysis, business intelligence, data management, and predictive analytics; cleanse data and scrutinize production outbound to identify and rectify data abnormalities using data analysis software; perform statistical analysis procedures to identify descriptive and exploratory data analysis, such as summarizing, visualizing, and profiling the data, and identify any anomalies, outliers, or missing values; employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable insights to the reporting team and their stakeholders in the organization; and generate reports from big datasets on daily, weekly & monthly basis into excel, Power BI output. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.     

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires one (1) year of experience in the following: 

•    SAS and SQL;
•    Microsoft Access, Excel, and VBA;
•    Base SAS and SAS Macros;
•    Snowflake;
•    Teradata;
•    Oracle;
•    Big Data;
•    Unix; and
•    Power BI.

OR

Employer will accept no degree and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following: 

•    SAS and SQL;
•    Microsoft Access, Excel, and VBA;
•    Base SAS and SAS Macros;
•    Snowflake;
•    Teradata;
•    Oracle;
•    Big Data;
•    Unix; and
•    Power BI.

RATE OF PAY:  $94,000 – $153,219 /  per year
