The Salesforce CRM Administrator and Financial Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Optum Workers’ Comp and Auto No-Fault (OWCA) Salesforce platform, to include management, onboarding, and training of the system for all users.

 

This role is knowledgeable enough about Salesforce to administer the tool at a level to recommend enhancements and add-ons to best benefit the business and train users in best practices and data hygiene to achieve business goals. The position is required to identify issues, maintain the database, ensure data integrity, and provide technical support to users. The Salesforce CRM Administrator will be the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related inquiries and will ensure the platform is effectively utilized to support business objectives.

 

This position is also responsible for managing the financial aspect of Salesforce to include advising OWCA Go-to-Market teams in creating, analyzing and distributing pipeline reports for OWCA leadership. This position should identify trends and opportunities within new and existing business and support the Go-to-Market team in developing strategies to optimize customer growth, interactions, and satisfaction.

 

This role will work closely with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations based on pipeline data. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex data in a clear and actionable manner, in addition to the business acumen needed to communicate to the executive level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce CRM platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including data integrity, data cleansing, and data migration
  • Develop, create, and customized reports and dashboards to support business needs, especially sales pipeline reports
  • Monitor and analyze sales pipeline data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
  • Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for pipeline reporting
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all sales pipeline reports
  • Work with users to ensure accurate and timely data entry into the CRM system
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pipeline reporting
  • Provide training and support to Go-to-Market team members on pipeline reporting tools and best practices
  • Create training materials and documentation
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams to gather requirements and to evaluate new Salesforce features and enhancements
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices at the corporate level, and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of CRM administration experience 
  • Proficient in data management, including data import/export, data quality, and data security
  • Experience creating ad-hoc reports and/or dashboards for data analysis and trending
  • Experience in a role that requires data quality and accuracy
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues, user adoption, training and/or process flow documentation
  • Experience working with diverse teams and executives

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRM certifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and other development tools
  • Experience in sales, account management, or data analysis
  • Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
