Primary Responsibilities:

• Leads and owns the solution analysis, design, implementation, and production release of API capabilities independently or together with other software engineers in the team
• Serves as a mentor and provides consultancy to team members in technology best practices
• Participate in troubleshooting sessions/war rooms to provide insights, recommendations, and updates to the leadership about the resolutions and impacts
• Evaluate and drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and design patterns to provide better productivity, delivery quality, and cost effective implementations to the organization
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree
  
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering
  
• 12+ years of experience with Java or JVM languages such as Kotlin
  
• 10+ years of experience in building microservices using Spring boot
  
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful services and Kafka streams
  
• 5+ years of Agile delivery experience
  
• 5+ years of experience working on an agile team
  
• 5+ years of experience development/ maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  
• 5+ years of experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  
• 3+ years of cloud experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering software using Agile/Scrum methodology
  
• Experience in Kafka or other even streaming technologies
  
• Experience in Kotlin, Spock, Docker, Azure, Jenkins, Grafana, Splunk
  
• Experience working in a DevOps model
  
• Proven solid communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment
