Primary Responsibilities:

• Implementing end to end features and user stories from analysis/design, building of feature, validation and deployment and post deployment support
• Deploy data applications on cloud platform “Azure”
• Perform code review and provide meaningful feedback to improve code quality
• Possess/acquire solid troubleshooting skills and be interested in performing troubleshooting of issues in different desperate technologies and environments
• Help teams in complex and unusual bugs and troubleshooting scenarios
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Working experience with Databricks, Spark, Scala, Cloud databases / data warehouse preferably Snowflake, Azure data services, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Experience in building end to end Spark Databricks data pipelines
• Experience with query optimization techniques
• Experience with data processing, storage and retrieval services on Azure Cloud platform
• Experience in building data pipelines Azure cloud platform
• Solid knowledge on Spark Core, SQL, ETL, Big Data technologies, OLAP, ETL
• Understanding agile methodology
• Good understanding of data warehousing design patterns, star schema design, entity relation modelling
• Good understanding of immutability, lazy evaluation
• Good understanding of memory management, caching and persistence
• In depth understanding and expertise of Relational cloud data warehouse preferably Snowflake
• Expertise in Databricks, Spark framework “Spark Core & Spark SQL” optimization
• Expertise in programming languages like Scala
• Proficiency in creating data transformations and aggregations using Spark Scala
• Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries (CTEs and Window Functions)
• Proficiency in writing procedures, triggers and PL/SQL blocks
• Proven solid written and verbal communication skills including explaining complex concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audience
