This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 640 Jackson St., Saint Paul, MN 55101.
We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be during our normal business hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verifies data and performs clerical tasks in the data processing function
- Examines, revises, approves and dispatches input and output materials according to established specifications
- Works on assignments that are semi – routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required
- Meet productivity standards as outlined in client metrics
- Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management team
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Certification as a Notary OR ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of revenue cycle experience within healthcare
- Experience using Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort, filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Ability to work full time onsite at 640 Jackson St., Saint Paul, MN 55101
- Ability to work Monday – Friday, during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends, based on the business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of medical record experience
- Previous experience utilizing EPIC, Cerner, OR other hospital applications
- Medical billing OR claims experience
The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
