JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer

DUTIES: Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements. Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems. Solve moderately complex problems and conducts moderately complex analysis. Translate concepts into practice. Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues. Coach, provide feedback, and guide others. Act as a resource for others with less experience. Use Automation frameworks. Utilize programming languages to create automation scripts and programs. Integrate testing into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure that automated tests are executed automatically with each code change. Collect and analyze test metrics and provide regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting testing progress, defects, and quality issues. Identify and assess risks related to software quality and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues. Collaborate with end-users during UAT to ensure that software meets requirements and expectation. Ensure we deliver high quality products and services across all technology functions. Conduct, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Quality Engineer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
• SQL and Data warehousing
• Automation frameworks such as Selenium or Robot Framework
• Python, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell
• Devops tools such as Jenkins, Circle or GitLab CI/CD
• Test Management
• Resource Management
• ETL Testing
• Medicaid/Medicare experience
• Risk Assessment
• Test Data management
• Defect identification
• API testing
• Metrics and Reporting
• Defect identification and management
RATE OF PAY: $138,006.00 – $182,451.00/year
