Network Operations Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain high levels of performance and availability
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including software and hardware updates
- Install and configure network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Develop and implement network security measures to protect sensitive data
- Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and troubleshooting steps
- Coordinate with vendors for new systems technologies and manage installations
- Respond to network-related issues reported by users, offering immediate solutions or escalating as necessary
- Recommend upgrades and improvements based on performance monitoring and trends
- Provide first-level troubleshooting support for networking issues
- Assist with the configuration and deployment of network hardware and software
- Manage network documentation and maintain updated network schematics
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex network issues
- Perform routine network maintenance and updates
- Respond promptly to network alerts and service requests
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to networking
- Participates in On Call Rotation 24/7
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Any degree with 3+ years of experience
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
