As a Senior Business Consultant in our Home & Community End User Enablement team, you will develop and drive end-to-end operational processes that efficiently enable clinical applications for our end users. You will partner with a cross-section of business and technical partners, project teams, vendors, enterprise security, and help desk to establish and improve cross-functional application enablement strategies and processes. This includes coordinating new application setup in Secure and the App Store, defining license stewardship best practices, mentoring on detailed access administration procedures, and establishing user support escalation paths.
As a demonstrated leader and strategic thinker, you will guide team members on corporate security policies, current versus future state process improvements, user access audits, software licensing metrics, and cost effectiveness. You will strive to remove roadblocks, resolve complex issues, and backfill for the director and other team members when needed

Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage in new application deployments to become the subject matter expert for application licensing and security topics by learning from the vendor, technical staff, and business stakeholders.
- Develop cross-functional end to end processes which enable clinicians to use an application including: security access requests, AppStore downloads, license assignment, user id setup, etc.
- Assess and establish risk-based application access audits, licensing stewardship metrics, and other controls to monitor for continuous process improvement and potential cost savings.
- Establish cross-functional support processes for tier 1, 2 and 3 help desk escalations that include appropriate roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all department processes and ability to evaluate and propose improvements to these processes.
- Monitor end user enablement process for alignment to corporate security policies, compliance, and legal regulations.
- Build solid working relationships that instill collaboration across business stakeholders, technical partners, vendors, and project deployment teams.
- Perform special end user enablement projects to support new application deployments, cost saving opportunities, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of demonstrated strategic planning, defining road maps, and setting goals
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to network with cross-functional application disciplines such as IT, business, training, enterprise security, help desk, and procurement
- 5+ years of experience as a strategic business process and application access analyst on mid to large application deployments
- Experience performing data reporting and analytics across Excel files with summarized findings
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and guide team members through mentoring, coaching and performance management
- Proven self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft SharePoint security and document management experience
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Experience partnering with application vendors within a supplier management program
- Demonstrated experience documenting detailed procedures in a logical and concise manner
- Knowledge of UHG security policies and Secure tool capabilities
- Demonstrated information technology audit experience and active directory knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ever changing priorities

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $140,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
