Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team Player in an Agile team within a Release Train/Value Stream
  • Technically hands on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing
  • Collectively responsible for end to end product quality
  • Participation in Design reviews, Solutioning, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
  • Promote and develop the culture of collaboration, accountability & quality
  • Provides technical support to team. Helps team in resolving technical issues
  • Closely working with Tech Lead, Onshore partners, deployment, and infrastructure teams
  • Provide product and software engineering leadership for the function by leading a scrum teams and own end to end implementation of solutions  within schedule, budget and quality
  • Project Prioritization, Effective delegation, Manage and Support cross functional software engineering team
  • Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders including Engineering and Product leadership
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of overall software engineering experience
  • Experience deploying and operating code in a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud)
  • Experience in financial technology domain
  • Experience with high volume transaction sites
  • Experience working with applications deployed in private or public cloud
  • Experience in customer facing products’
  • Deep knowledge / Hands on as Full Stack Developer in high performing scalable environment with specialization on the following:
    • Front End – JSP, JavaScript, Spring MVC
    • Back End –  JAVA, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud), Hibernate/JPA (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
    • Middleware -Red Hat JBoss EAP, Tomcat
    • Testing – Mockito, Junit, Etc..
    • DevOps –  Docker , GitHub.
    • Others – Microservices, RESTful APIs
    • Development Methodology / Engineering Practices – Agile (SCRUM / KANBAN / SAFe)
  • Proficient in one or more modern programming languages such Java (SE/EE),Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud), Hibernate/JPA, SQL, Microservices, RESTful APIs
  • Proven good oral and written communication Skills
  • Proven ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to solve business problems
