Quality Engineering Lead – Selenium

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Lead quality assurance efforts across multiple projects and teams
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality
- Automate regression and functional testing using modern frameworks and tools
- Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of complex quality issues
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall testing strategy and enhance the product’s quality posture
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes

Monitor and report on key quality metrics and testing progress
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor junior team members
- Proven passion for continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
