JOB TITLE:    Senior Data Scientist

LOCATION:    9700 Health Care Ln, Minnetonka, MN 55343 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Develop innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from unstructured, diverse datasets typically measured in gigabytes or larger. Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling and data engineering to implement analytical solutions aimed to improve healthcare delivery. Identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement. Build, enhance and automate data pipelines using emerging cloud technologies. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.    

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a technology-related occupation. Position requires 5 years of experience in the following: Knowledge of healthcare data including claims, membership, provider, and clinical data; Programming languages including Python and Snow SQL; Cloud-based data analytics including Azure, Snowflake and Databricks; Statistical modelling and machine learning techniques; Data visualization and communication of results; Version control tools including Git and Github; Design data warehouse infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-wide data science needs using emerging cloud technologies including Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and Databricks; Teradata, MicroStrategy and PowerBI; Informatica and Databricks; and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

RATE OF PAY:  $ 153,816.00 – $218,295.00 / per year
