- Assess and validate digital properties – websites, mobile apps, desktop apps, and especially PDF documents – for compliance with WCAG and PDF UA standards
- Stay informed of AI tools and automated PDF remediation platforms, evaluating their effectiveness and integrating them into PDF accessibility workflows
- Document assessment results, remediation steps, and compliance status using established reporting frameworks and templates
- Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external clients, providing education on PDF UA requirements and available tools
- Identify accessibility gaps in document designs and advocate for the adoption of accessible PDF templates and design patterns
- Participate in research and development to improve PDF accessibility processes with emerging AI technologies and automation
- Develop and deliver training on PDF UA compliance, manual remediation techniques, and AI-assisted document accessibility
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in information technology, information design, computer science, human-computer interaction (HCI), instructional design, quality assurance, assistive technology, or a related field; equivalent industry experience also considered
