Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
OBGYN:
-
Provides well women, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and all-inclusive gynecological care within the scope of his/her practice.

Complements the Ob/Gyn MD in providing care to women with moderately complex issues, both acute and chronic.

Serves as a patient educator. Provides rounding on patients in the hospital as determined by the needs of the practice and call group
Fertility:
-
Providing patient education on infertility evaluations, medication and process questions, treatment options and procedures.

Overseeing patient FET cycling planning and process, including injection training and consent reviews.

Coordinating patient treatment plans for IUI and IVF.

Providing patient and/or couples counseling, procedural review, and communicating physician orders and instructions.

Ensuring all patient information is documented appropriately in the EMR (Epic).

Performing intrauterine insemination (IUIs), endometrial biopsies, Pap smears, OB ultrasounds, and sonohysterograms

Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.

May include some weekend procedures

Required Qualifications:
-
Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Must have graduated from a master’s level state and NLN approved NP program and possess state licensure to practice in the expanded role.

Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as NP.

Minimum of 3 years of specialty specific and/or ambulatory experience in a Fertility or ObGyn practice with experience in skill areas listed above.

Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
- Physician Assistant (PA) – Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as a Physician Assistant.
Preferred Qualification:
-
Minimum of 2 years of ambulatory OBYGN experience preferred.

Previous experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care preferred.

Experience with an electronic medical records system, EPIC experienced preferred
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 – $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
