Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring applications, infrastructure alerts and reacting quickly or escalate
  • Managing incidents: When software products fail to function as expected, production support team identify, diagnose, and find ways to resolve the issue. Often, they collaborate with other team members to address the problem. Closing open support tickets by adhering to the production support service level agreements
  • Coordinate with IT groups and external vendors and ensure effective application services to ensure reliability of the application
  • Understand the severity of the problem and open war room if needed to find the RCA by working with cross-functional teams if necessary to solve the production issue
  • Preparing and documenting reports: These Support team prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation of systems and procedures, and other relevant information. Employers expect them to record every problem in the production environment
  • Troubleshooting issues: Production support engineers analyze various metrics and logs to understand the reason for system failure or non-performance. Using different debugging and diagnostic tools, these engineers find solutions to improve software performance
  • Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to ensure success
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge/Proficient in Unix Commands
  • Basic knowledge/Proficient in SQL Queries
  • Basic knowledge/Proficient in Core Java
  • Proven good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven good in teamwork and Collaboration
  • Flexible to work in different shifts, ready to work as On Call Support during Weekends and Holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge on how to use Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zabbix and Splunk
  • Basic knowledge on KAFKA & KAFKA Certs renewal process
  • Basic/Proficient in GitHub Repo
  • Basic knowledge on Jenkins
