We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Operations Manager to advance our innovation agenda for Optum Insight Marketing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving Marketo enhancements and maximizing the benefits of various use cases. They will support the development of a self-service model to empower team members and streamline processes. Equally important, this role will spearhead a B2B data initiative, making significant progress in our B2B data strategy, governance, and innovation efforts. Additional responsibilities include, supporting the evolution of lead routing and GenAI transformation initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance marketing workflows and drive business growth. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a solid background in marketing operations, cross-collaboration leadership and a passion for innovation.

 

This role will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing Innovation helping to identify, evaluate and shape our transformative agenda.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Steward Marketing Evolution initiatives within Optum Insight, including driving steady state and proficiency with the marketers, advancing features and functionality within Marketo, and achieving year two CBA forecasts
  • Partner with the marketing evolution team to pioneer self-serve models that allow marketers to create, manage and execute digital campaigns
  • Drive our B2B data agenda, including align data initiatives with overall business goals, focusing on enabling revenue growth, operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Develop a multi-year roadmap, prioritizing projects and resources to maximize impact
  • Lead efforts to transform raw data into actionable insights through advanced analytics
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve lead routing rules within our CRM and marketing automation systems to ensure leads are directed to the most appropriate teams, identifying any trends and optimizing
  • Champion GenAI initiatives to drive efficiency and improve speed to market and employee satisfaction
  • Mentor and develop team members to build respective expertise in Marketo, data management, analytics, GenAI and business acumen

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Marketing Experience with 2+ years in B2B
  • 2+ years of team management experience
  • Experience with marketing automation (ideally, Eloqua and Marketo), Salesforce and PowerBI
  • Experience providing strategic guidance to stakeholders
  • Solid project management experience within a matrix organization 
  • Travel up to 10% 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, including ability to synthesize information and make recommendations
  • Solid quantitative abilities and problem-solving skills. Always looking for new ways to examine data. Demonstrated ability to develop effective / collaborative working relationships with leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent and, occasionally, competing initiatives in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
