Optum is seeking a health care professional to serve as a senior consultant for the technology practice which specifically focuses on the Implementation, configuration, and testing areas of Technology Consulting, which sits in the broader Optum Advisory (OA) organization. Current Technology Consulting offerings include a variety of payer and provider consulting services ranging from Digital transformation, Core Claims administration consulting, System Implementations and Quality Assurance. The Senior Consultant will work together with the Senior Director responsible for maintaining client relationships, and further expansion opportunities, the Senior Consultant will be the quality assurance subject matter expert for all projects and, with other team members, will be expected to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction. The role includes what will be significant interaction with our clients, external experts, and other colleagues across our corporate matrix.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute to trusted relationships with clients
• Achieve the highest level of client satisfaction
• Achieve solid team and matrix relationships
• Proactively develop technical and professional behavioral skills
• Support the development of expanded Payer Marketing consulting services
• Support sales and contracting operations for the Payer Marketing consulting services
• Efficiently and effectively lead operational project delivery
• Experience using publicly available information to support topic-specific inquires
• Coordinate and facilitate individual and group interactions in virtual and in-person settings

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working within software consulting
• 2+ years of experience in Claims, Test Data Procurement, and/or related disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects with multiple project stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and influence senior professionals and subject matter experts
• Willing to travel as needed and based on client requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience in Digital Platforms
• Experience with Rally or Jira
