ProHealth Physicians Joins Optum to Advance Patient Care in Connecticut
Optum and ProHealth Physicians will collaborate to improve patient care quality, outcomes and experiences

FARMINGTON, CONN. (Dec. 17, 2015) — Health services leader Optum announced that ProHealth Physicians (ProHealth), one of Connecticut’s largest independent physician groups and its integrated management company, has joined the OptumCare organization to advance care for its more than 360,000 active patients.
ProHealth’s approximately 370 physicians and advanced practitioners provide primary care, specialty care and ancillary services.
Optum and ProHealth share a goal of improving the quality and efficiency of health care in local communities, and of managing the costs of care, by improving communication and collaboration among patients, physicians, hospitals and health plans.
