Shift Timing: 5:30 PM till 2:30 AM IST

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Undertake analysis to identify key trends investigate unusual items and provide variance analysis, with explanations, to the stakeholders.
  • Creation of long-term demand forecast for multiple product lines.
  • Re-forecast on a short-term basis to reflect updated information and retail partners planning confirmations.
  • Interpreting external data to assist in understanding impacts on future chart inflow volume.
  • Support forecasting and capacity planning for monthly and annual budgeting.
  • Creation of reporting and tools to assist demand planning and allocation teams.
  • Research and recommend data, models, and methods to increase forecast accuracy.
  • Querying databases and using statistical computer languages: Python and SQL.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • Work with large and multiple datasets, and data warehouses and pull data using relevant programs and coding.
  • Work and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions, implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques and develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Leverage analytics to increase customer lifetime value for clients acquired digitally by pitching right product to the right client at the right time.
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate or above education, preferably in a related field of study such as Finance, Business or Statistics, Insurance, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical position, proven experience in forecasting in the product-based or e-commerce industry
  • Solid background in Statistical Analysis. Constantly look and research on ML algorithms and data sources for better prediction
  • Proven advanced Excel skills and SQL knowledge 
  • Proven advanced knowledge and practical application of Python, including utilizing Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, Stats models, and other related libraries
  • Proven ability to structure, clean, and engineer data and derive insights from missing / ambiguous data
  • Proven ability to quickly build solid relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage, adjust, and complete projects on schedule in a dynamic work environment
