This position is full – time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 7:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends. Our office is located at 7440 Woodland Drive, Indianapolis, IN. 

We offer 12 weeks of training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule. Training will be conducted on-site

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sending correspondence to members
  • Reconciling reports
  • Performing basic data entry functions with proficient PC skills including but not limited to Microsoft products and Quickbooks
  • Analytical and Researching techniques
  • Initiate and assist with developments / changes to increase or change quality and productivity
  • Preparing, processing, and maintaining new member or group enrollments
  • Responding to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status
  • Working with various types of member correspondence

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment, using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, including mouse and keyboard skills (data entry, open documents, save documents)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software applications including Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving, and sharing documents), Microsoft Excel (creating, saving, editing, sharing files, and using formulas), and Microsoft Outlook (creating rules, using calendar, create, copy, edit, save, and send correspondence)
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift schedule between the hours of 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM  EST including the flexibility to work occasional overtime (optional) and weekends based on business need

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in the finance / accounting area
  • 1+ years of experience with working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience with reconciling bank accounts
  • Experience of Taft – Hartley Administration

Soft Skills:

  • Experience with working in a fast – paced multi – tasking environment
